Sarah Hemminger’s work weaves a support network that helps young people reach their full potential. The organization she founded, Thread, connects Baltimore City teenagers in the lowest 25% of their high school class with volunteers who do whatever it takes to help them prepare for their future. Through friendship, encouragement, and increased access to resources, Thread provides teens with the strong social fabric they need to thrive.
